Visionradio wins innovations contract with emda - East Midlands Development Agency

In partnership with De Montfort University's Mechatronics group (DMU), Visionradio has successfully secured a contract under the emda Innovative Actions Call.

The project, entitled "EasyChannel for Content", is set to explore ways in which Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can be put to use in creating new business opportunities and market channels for the region's Creative Industry sector. The project will run throughout 2005.

Key to securing the work has been Visionradio's ability to develop traditional web solutions backed by the company's unique perspective on how the use of the Internet is set, over time, to extend to non computer devices such as digital radio and TV. Supported by the programming and development skills of DMU, the project envisages bringing together and testing concepts which will aid the full spectrum from Internet novices to advanced users gain further business advantage.
