How many pictures will a camera hold? Back to FAQ
The factors that determine how many pictures
the camera will hold depends on 2 things:
the resolution of the images and the free memory in the camera.
For example, with the memory free, the 5032 will hold about 440 images at VGA (640 x 480) resolution (High Quality) and over 1200 pictures at 320 x 240 (Standard).
How much AVI movie recording time can a camera take? Back to FAQ
As a rule of thumb, 45 seconds of AVI footage at 320 x 240 without audio takes 1MB of memory. If you select the video with audio mode on units that support it (see Can I record AVI with audio), this changes
Can I record AVI with audio? Back to FAQ
The 5000 series only records AVI video. The 6000 and 7000 series support either video on its own (default), or video with audio which you need to select before shooting.
Can I view AVI movies as well as stills on the screen of the 7000 series? Back to FAQ
Yes it is possible to see AVI movies as well as stills on the screen of the 7264. As we have not sold any of the 7100 or 7000 series please refer to the manufacturer if your question particularly relates to these models.
In the playback mode you can access a "thumbnail" screen which shows both stills and AVI movies which you can access for display.
How much music will a PhotoClip store? Back to FAQ
The average size of a reasonable quality MP3
track is around 1MB per minute
of music, so dependent on how much free memory space you have, a PhotoClip with
64MB can take a little over a standard CD album.
What length of voice memo recording can I take? Back to FAQ
The voice recorder gives you around 4 minutes per 1MB, so with no pictures, AVI or music on a 32MB camera, you can record about 2 hours of voice memos.
What is the correct mains polarity for the 7264 DC supply? Back to FAQ
There is confusion between the manual for the 7264 and the label on the bottom of the product on which polarity configuration is correct for any stabilized 3.3V, 2A DC supply (3rd party power supplies should be sourced as the manufacturers for PhotoClip do not currently supply them).
The answer is positive polarity to the centre
pin.
